About Me

Howdy! I'm a freelance copywriter and photographer based in Houston, TX, with over seven years of writing experience and two years behind the lens. My writing journey began as a side hustle to help fund my college education, but it quickly evolved into a passion and a profession. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Southern University, which has given me a unique insight into sports medicine and healthcare, two of many areas in which I specialize in writing. I currently serve as a Contract Copywriter for Encore Enterprises, a commercial real estate agency, where I create content that brings brand voices to life. Previously, I served as the Development Writer for two years at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, where I drafted and developed exhibition letters for the Museum's stakeholders. 

Photography found me years later, but it's become another powerful tool in my storytelling. Armed with my Canon EOS Rebel T100, I began freelancing two years ago and recently completed my first professional assignment with Easy Day Sports, an event production agency.
